The little black dress. LBD. It’s a classic and we all have one in our closet. (I think I have three actually!) Sometimes we wonder how to style this fashion basic- we get stuck in a rut when it comes to styling. I mean, who hasn’t paired the LBD with classic pearls and black pumps? Guilty. Celebrity stylist and fashion expert, Brett Alan Nelson, shows us how to rework the classic LBD into a completely different look.
- Edgy – Pair with a leather jacket and classic black heels. Accessorize with a studded clutch and you’ve got a classy look with a funky edge.
- Office – Throw on a classic blazer over the dress and add a skinny belt. Pair with oxfords for a chic office look.
- Dress Down – Wear the LBD with a distressed denim jacket.
- Going Out – Layering a tee or lace tank under (yes under!) the dress will change the dress completely. Add a pop of color with a hot pink belt.
